The modern workplace relies on efficiency and flexibility in order to thrive. Self-service tasks like booking holidays, reporting absences or viewing holiday entitlements should be intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring employees are able to use their time most effectively. Our holiday App aims to provide the flexibility any modern-day business requires, by allowing clients to add in holidays by both days and hours.
To extend this flexibility, the need arose to create a high-level visual interface to display holiday entitlement in both days and hours, as well as providing quick links for simple navigation to an employee’s full entitlement, approved holiday calendar and booking a holiday.
This new user interface will replace our old holiday dial, which only had the capacity to display one type of holiday entitlement. This feature will ensure employees are utilising their time effectively!
